I just wanted to let you all know that our CDs have arrived, and are ready to be purchased. The official release date is October 31st (Reformation Day:) so if you purchase a CD after then, the total would be $18.00 each. If you purchase a CD before the 31st, the total is $15.00.

Quintessence Ensemble will be in West Lincoln, which is around the Niagara area, for a short concert after a presentation on CollegePlus. Here are the details:

Where: Silverdale Community Center, 4610 Sixteen Road, St. Anns (or West Lincoln)
When: October 1st at 7:30 pm
Cost: $5.00 per family

We will be allowing all attendees to either purchase our CD if it is ready in time, or sign an order sheet to preorder. Looking forward to seeing you there, since it will be a rewarding evening!

Hello all followers!
Ah...we all relieved and excited that we have completed the first step of putting together a CD, the recording! Even though we were a little nervous about the whole process, since it was our first time in a recording studio, the technician was very calm and knowledgeable, which put us at ease. 
Once the first three pieces were recorded, he gave us the opportunity to hear one of the pieces, which is an entirely different feeling as a musician. 
Here are a few pictures from our exciting evening:)

Today is the day that we have been waiting for...recording session day!!
Here is a sneak-peak photo from our CD case, which was taken down by the lake in a photo shoot just a couple weeks ago. We will be uploading more pictures into the gallery from this photo shoot once the CD has been released, possibly even changing the header picture, and few other pictures on our website.

Quintessence Ensemble's recording studio appointment has been rescheduled because of a couple unforeseen circumstances. We are hoping to post pictures from the session on September 11th, sometime in mid September.

Also, we may be adding two additional hymns to the list of ten, possibly Ode to Joy, How Great Thou Art, or Praise God the Almighty.
